Job Description: Brick Washer
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Brick Washer. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery and equipment used for cleaning various types of masonry in an industrial setting. Utilize pressure washers and appropriate cleaning solutions to remove dirt, grime, stains, and other contaminants from all types of masonry.
Adjust pressure settings and spray patterns on the pressure washer to ensure effective and efficient cleaning without damaging the masonry.
Inspect cleaned masonry for any remaining debris or imperfections and rewash if necessary.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Perform routine maintenance on pressure washing equipment, such as cleaning, changing oil, and lubricating parts.
Maintain accurate records of daily production output, quality control measurements, and equipment maintenance activities.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and meet production targets.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, including proper storage of equipment and cleaning materials.
Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in pressure washing techniques.
Comply with company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, quality control, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older.
Must have a valid Driver's License.
Previous experience operating pressure washing equipment is preferred.
Basic knowledge of pressure washing techniques, equipment maintenance, and safety procedures.
Physical stamina and ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving heavy loads.
Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and report any issues or concerns.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production demands.
Reliability and punctuality to adhere to work schedules and meet production deadlines.
Understanding of and commitment to following safety protocols and guidelines.
Competence performing basic measuring and math skills, such as calculating area.
